NEW YORK (Reuters) - Pfizer Inc said Tuesday it will start selling its cholesterol-lowering drug, Viagra, to the United States market for the next two years.
Pfizer said in a statement that it would "continue to market the drug under the supervision of a licensed health care practitioner."
The drug is known as Pfizer's "little blue pill," but it's sold by many companies including Pfizer Inc, who in 2012 became the first to market the little pill in the United States.
The company said Pfizer will begin selling its drug at a much lower price than expected, the company said.
Pfizer said in a statement that it had "considered" a number of factors, including a "strong regulatory position" for the drug, as well as a "continued commitment to patient safety and efficacy."

ViagraConnect manufacturer, Pfizer, estimates more than a fifth of men aged over 18 in Britain suffer from erectile dysfunction, but almost half of those over 40 have not sought medical help.
The erectile dysfunction drug will be available in 14,000 stores across Britain and via pharmacy websites.
The tablets will be available exclusively from Boots until 10 April.
